Position Opening: Account Manager / Technical Sales Representative
-- Constantly canvass the territory to find new customers and opportunities to increase market share. Maintain and increase revenue from existing accounts while meeting defined profit objectives, by using proper sales techniques, problem solving skills and product demonstrations.
-- Establish goals and objectives as they relate to account and product sales, along with a plan of action to attain or exceed set goals.
-- Sell multiple products (full line) to customer base.
-- Provide local support of our vendor’s products through application and engineering assistance to our customers while positioning as our customers “champion” with those vendors.
-- Must be technically versed on the Company's products, constantly strive to learn and increase knowledge and take the initiative to learn about and promote new products.
-- The Technical Sales Representative must possess quality people skills.
-- The individual must be mature, flexible and self-motivated with an upbeat and positive attitude.
-- Must be able to analyze a territory and determine which existing customers have the potential to grow and which potential new customers warrant a concentrated selling attack.
-- Place best sales efforts against identified accounts, to expand existing or generate new business.
-- Develop an action plan with specific action steps for each identified existing or potential account detailing how the sales volume will be increased, when it will happen and what will be promoted as it relates to the selling territory growth expectations.
-- Continually monitor assigned territory for new opportunities and perform cold call selling to evaluate the opportunity and determine whether the account qualifies for more selling time.
-- Provide excellent customer service to all accounts.
-- Continually further education by reading and/or viewing sales and product related materials.
-- Interact with vendors to ensure proper application and product implementation.
-- Design, engineer, conceptualize and prototype products or projects per Company guidelines.
-- Maintain activity level to accomplish your basic job functions.
