Job Title: Desktop Engineer
The Desktop Engineer works with the IT Infrastructure, Security Operations, and Change Management teams as an end user computing expert. This role helps to develop and support
all end user computing technology standards, processes, and solutions across the enterprise and is expected to be a subject matter expert on workstation software/hardware and
productivity business solutions. This team member is responsible for end user software/hardware release management, and production support escalations using SCCM, Group
Policies, Active Directory, Microsoft Office and Office 365, SQL, PowerShell, and other basic Microsoft tools required to perform advanced workstation software hardware architecture
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Desktop Engineer is an experienced Microsoft Windows System Engineer that can develop application installation packages and operating system deployments using SCCM,
Group Policy, AdminStudio and other common tools and best practices. The Desktop Engineer will be the technical lead and escalation point for end user computing solutions.
Responsibilities include workstation hardware and software analysis and archicture, change management, small project management and production support escalations. The Desktop
Engineer will be knowledgable in moder Microsoft infrastructure technology like Active Directory, Azure, Office 365 Enterprise, We are looking for someone with strong end user

Education/Certification: Four-year bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years supporting Microsoft Windows Operating systems
At least 5 years working with Microsoft Group Policies
At least 5 years working with and creating custom PowerShell and batch scripts in order to handle different administrative tasks
At least 3 years of SQL experience. Should be able to create SQL queries to provide data analysis and manage SCCM assets
At least 3 years as a technical lead or project manager for software/operating system deployments or changes
At least 4 years packaging applications for workstation deployment in an Enterprise environment, using SCCM, Alteris, Admin Studio or similar
At least 5 years supporting different version of Microsoft Office and a more expert level of knowledge
At least 3 years of basic enterprise networking experience
At least 1 years of Office 365 experience
General Requirements: Highly effective writing/verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently with minimal oversight or guidance.
Capabilities in providing technical desktop engineering practices, recommendations, advice, and enhancements from integration engagements of
prior successful image/systems integrations.
